Hi guys!

It’s time to share with you photos from Victoria & Kevin’s Blue & Yellow, Rustic Barn Wedding at Country Heritage Park in Milton!

I was so excited when Victoria and Kevin reached out to me to ask me to photograph their wedding. Kevin and Victoria told me they were planning a rather small, simple wedding but the photography and the portraits of them, their family and friends were a very important aspect of their wedding day. They also told me their reception would be taking place at Country Heritage Park in Milton (which was one of my bucket list wedding venues to photograph at) so naturally, from the beginning we were the perfect fit and I said of course I’d love to work with them!

Victoria and Kevin’s day began at the super quaint and adorable St. Peter’s Church in the Guelph/Eramosa area. I’d never been to this church before, but it was so cute and the perfect place to hold their small and intimate wedding ceremony. As per the priests requests, not many photos were taken, but the ceremony was very short and sweet and after it ended we headed to Country Heritage Park for photo time!

Once we got to Country Heritage Park the wedding party, Kevin, Victoria and I headed out in our cars to drive around the property stopping at every spot that looked good for photos. There were SO many great spots for photos I was in photographer heaven! We took photos in fields, in front of old buildings/houses and even stopped midway through the shoot to pet some donkeys! Photo time with Victoria, Kevin and their wedding party was so relaxed and amazing! I love it when a couple gives me a huge amount of time to take photos of them and the wedding party because that’s my favourite part of the entire day!

Kevin and Victoria are fairly quiet and kind of shy so the idea of being photographed all day was daunting to them, but during photo time their personalities came out in front of the camera and I was really able to capture great, candid shots of them. I personally love all of the photos we captured!

Victoria and Kevin’s wedding theme was country and rustic with blue and yellow as their colour scheme. I love how bright, yellow sunflowers pop against blue! It’s a perfect colour combination and the wedding party’s attire of short flowy dresses for the girls and suspenders and blue bow ties for the guys really created a relaxed, effortlessly beautiful look that matches Kevin and Victoria’s personalities perfectly!

Their reception in the historic Gambrel Barn was simple and quaint. Simple mason jar centerpieces with sunflowers and babys breath dressed the tables and the amazing, grand barn really doesn’t need much decoration at all! It’s beauty makes for an effortlessly simple, classic barn wedding look.

Victoria & Kevin, Thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your wedding day. Your simple, rustic wedding was so refreshing and enjoyable and it was so great to work with such a down to earth, amazing couple like you two! I wish you all the best in your future together!
