Hi guys!

I hope you all enjoy my favourite photos from Laura & Colin’s Blue & Fuchsia, Garden-Themed Wedding!

Laura & Colin’s day was so amazing from start to finish!

I started the day off with Laura taking her getting ready photos. She looked absolutely stunning from the minute I walked in seeing her get her hair and make up done. Her dress was gorgeous and her details were so fun to photograph! I loved all of her personal touches like her great great great Grandmother’s kerchief that had been passed down in the family. Weddings with those special touches really make the day that much more special! After Laura was all dressed up and ready to go, her first look with her girls was to die for! There were tears, smiles and it was just such a heartfelt, touching moment!

After I finished up with Laura I headed to Ariss Valley to photograph the guys getting ready. As per usual, the men getting ready photos were a lot more chill, complete with chilled beers, and the vibe was so mellow. Colin was so cool and collected, ready to go and his groomsmen were right there with him ready to begin this amazing day! After some precious Mother and Son moments and some beer clinking captured, we were ready to go!

I got Colin in position at a lovely little gazebo so we could do the Bride and Groom first look! First looks are such an amazing and adorable moment and I was so happy that Laura and Colin decided to do one and picked the perfect setting for it! Colin was completely floored when he saw how beautiful his Bride looked and Laura was so happy! Colin also gave Laura her gift of amazing earrings!

After the first look we headed out to the grounds to begin wedding party & Bride and Groom portraits. The setting at Ariss Valley is SO gorgeous with things like willow trees, streams and a lighthouse, the photo options are endless and everyone in the wedding party nailed the photos we took! I love how fun they were to work with when doing some non-traditional photos like Laura’s ‘Wait until you see her’ for Colin for the first look, and the Bride and Groom’s ‘LOOK AT MY BLING’ shots with the wedding party! I love working with a wedding party that knows how to have a good time!

I also have to mention how gorgeous Laura looked on her wedding day. Her dress fit her to a T and her whole bridal ensemble was just mesmerizing, to put it simply! She was a vision, and Colin totally cleaned up good as well! His suit was very nice and he wore that boutonniere well! Laura and Colin look amazing when they are photographed together and I had such a great time capturing those moments of excitement and love between them.

Next came the ceremony and how precious of a ceremony it was! There were laughs, tears and looks of endearment that was sweet enough to make your heart burst! It was easy to see, during their vows, that Laura and Colin are so in love and they were the happiest they’ve ever been while tying the knot.

After the ceremony and family photos came the reception, and I was definitely IMPRESSED with what I saw. I also have to say, Laura working with flowers in her line of work, totally nailed the colour scheme of the wedding! The fuchsia with that beautiful shade of blue just looked amazing! The room was covered with amazing details like wooden crates for flower arrangements, burlap table runners, lovely calligraphic table numbers, beautiful arrangements of wildflowers,  gorgeous buttercream, flowered cake, and the cutest flower seed favors that fit the theme of the wedding perfectly! Everything was executed so well and I think Laura definitely had a lot to do with that amazing execution!

The vibe during the reception was so fun and beautiful! It had just the right amount of fun and humor mixed with sentimental moments and well wishes for the couple. A reception filled with laughter and happy tears is always a winner in my books! I love the photos I was able to capture during the speeches, the first dance and the parent dances- they were so special and sentimental!

Overall, Laura and Colin’s day was definitely one to remember and I enjoyed myself SO much being apart of their special day.

Laura & Colin, Thank you so much for choosing me to capture your wedding day. I wish you all the best in your future together as husband and wife and I hope your lives are filled with so much love & fun!
