Hi guys!

Today I am sharing photos from Lee-Ann & Mike’s Classy, Vintage-Themed Wedding at Liuna Station in Hamilton!

Lee-Ann and Mike’s wedding day was so sweet – That’s the best word to describe it!

We began the day at Lee-Ann and Mike’s charming, character-filled home in Hamilton. Lee-Ann got her make up done as I took some photos of her gorgeous dress and detail shots of her accessories. Once she was ready to go, we headed to the church.

Their ceremony took place at Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King in Hamilton. This church was so gorgeous with it’s stained glass windows and grand size – it’s beautiful  from the outside and inside! The ceremony was simple and sweet. Lee-Ann and Mike beamed with excitement as they were announced as husband and wife!

After the ceremony we headed outside to take their wedding portraits. We started with the wedding party – which was so fun and included taking some silly shots! Then we took the photos of the the Bride and Groom. Lee-Ann and Mike were so sweet to photograph (they are just so in love!) and the church and it’s architecture was the perfect backdrop for their pictures. We were so lucky as we were able to take photos of all of the wedding party and the Bride and Groom before the rain started!

From the church, in the rain, we headed to the reception venue Liuna Station where luckily the rain stopped again and allowed us to take some more Bride and Groom photos! We took lovely photos on the outside of Liuna Station as well as in the little garden space with beautiful flowers and a fountain. Lee-Ann’s wedding dress was so stunning on her and her DIY tissue pink paper bouquet and boutonniere for Mike were so cute! After photos we headed inside to escape the rain that started again.

The reception space was gorgeous! Liuna Station is so full of character and history which makes it a beautiful building! Not only is the architecture beautiful, but the decor they picked out like old, vintage-style candle stick arrangements and ivory linens really gave the feeling of an old-style, classy wedding – which was so cool! Not only was it their wedding day, but it was Mike’s 40th Birthday too! Lee-Ann wanted to make sure the fact that it was Mike’s birthday was not forgotten, so she made sure to include his favourite thing in their big day – music! Their guest signing ‘book’ was a guitar and they had a live swing band for the reception! It was so thoughtful and so sweet! She also made sure that there were reminders of their adorable dog Ned at the wedding too! There were little figurines of wiener dogs as decor and cars set up that informed guests about the rescue dog shelter where they got their pride and joy, little Ned!

Lee-Ann and Mike’s first dance was just adorable! They were all smiles and giggles and their energy was infectious! Everyone has such a great time at their reception!

Lee-Ann & Mike, Thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your wedding day. Your love is such a beautiful thing that I am so glad that I got to witness and I know that what the two of you have is true love and that it will last forever! I hope we cross paths again in the future! I wish you all the best!
