Hi, Everyone!

I am so happy to be sharing Anna & Jim’s Intimate, Guelph Arboretum Wedding on the blog today!

Anna & Jim had plans to re-locate across the country after the summer ended for work, so they decided they wanted to be married before that adventure began. That’s where I came in and I was happy to help by being their photographer!

Anna & Jim’s wedding day was so simple and sweet – and I loved it!

I began the day by meeting Anna at her hotel for the wedding preparations. The vibe was very calm and peaceful, yet filled with excitement from all of her bridesmaids and Anna herself! They could’t wait to get this show on the road!

After some detail photos getting ready, we headed to The Guelph City Hall where the ceremony was going to take place. The ceremony and short and sweet, with their friends and family surrounding them in a semi circle. After the ceremony, we headed to the Guelph Arboretum for the reception.

The room was filled with purple decor, and many personalized, special decorations, including a photo of Anna and Jim from University, which is where they met, and very cute wedding favors that were tree seedlings for guests to take home and plant!

Next came Anna and Jim’s photo session and I just loved that we were taking those at the Arboretum! Jim proposed to Anna in the Italian Gardens, which is where we started their photo session, so the memories of their engagement just filled them with joy, and when they shared the details of the proposal with me, my heart definitely skipped a beat! It was such a sweet story and Anna and Jim are just the cutest couple! Anna looked like a vintage, beauty Bride and Jim looked very handsome and dapper. The photo session was so easy, relaxing, and it was GORGEOUS weather – I had such a great time photographing them together.

After the photos came the reception which was filled with heartfelt speeches, and some jokes along the way. Anna and Jim really created a day that encompassed the true meaning of a wedding – to not only get married, but to surround yourself with family and friends and the people you love to really make a day that is special for everyone, not only themselves. It was such a sweet, little wedding and I am so happy I got to be a part of it!

Anna & Jim, Thank you so much for choosing me to capture your special memories. I wish you all the best in your future together as husband and wife! I hope your lives are filled with fun, happiness and adventure! Best of luck to you in your future together!
