Hi guys!

I cannot express how EXCITED I am to be sharing Sarah & Ryan’s Wedding Photos on the blog today!

Sarah & Ryan’s Wedding was one of the first few weddings of the season for me and it definitely started things out on a high note!

To start at the beginning, when I first met Sarah and Ryan in person at a coffee shop, I immediately fell in love with them! They are literally the definition of cuteness together. Ryan and Sarah are both very happy, positive people. Sarah, especially, is super outgoing, bubbly and just the happiest girl you will ever meet! Ryan is also a super genuine, happy guy and Ryan and Sarah together is just the perfect combination you can imagine! They told me how they met, how they got engaged and how excited they were to get married. I definitely shared in their enthusiasm, and when they chose me to capture their special day I couldn’t have been more happy!

We took their engagement photos in the fall when the leaves were all colourful and pretty, and it was during their engagement shoot that I realized that their love was SO photogenic and just as beautiful on the outside as it is on the inside! It made me that much more excited for their wedding to arrive!

The big day arrived, and I started the day at Sarah’s parent’s house taking photos of her getting ready. Everyone was in such high spirits and so excited for the day to unfold! Sarah was just as bubbly and excited as ever, she just couldn’t wait to marry the love of her life! Her dress was absolutely stunning and SO her! I said to her, even though I haven’t known her that long, I could tell that the dress she chose was made for her. It suited her perfectly! After she was all dressed, we did first reveal photos with her parents and their faces were priceless! They saw their little girl becoming a woman and that moment and those photos are ones that I know they will treasure forever.

Next, we headed to the church and I met up with Ryan, who was hiding out in the back room of the church. He was just so excited, but a little anxious waiting for everything to unfold. Of course, he was all smiles and when the time came, he was so ready for it!

When Sarah walked down the aisle towards Ryan, his face just lit up, and a couple tears were shed. His face in the photos just says it all! Throughout the whole ceremony Sarah was just jumping (literally) with excitement! The closer their ‘I Do’s came, the more excited she got! Ryan shared in her excitement and he was smiling from ear to ear! When they finally were officially married, they literally skipped down the aisle, on cloud 9! I’ve never seen a couple more excited to be married!

Photo time came next, and I was just so eager to get those going! I already knew Sarah and Ryan are so amazing to photograph, and their wedding party was so fun, so I knew it would be a good time! We had a great time taking photos at Pioneer Tower with Sarah and Ryan and the entire wedding party. After Pioneer tower, I went to Riverside Park in Cambridge with Sarah and Ryan only to capture some more, intimate Bride & Groom photos. We captured some stunning photos with huge willow trees and leafy-vined fences.  Let me tell you, it is SO difficult to make a blog post when a couple looks THIS amazing together! There were so many amazing photos of them that it was hard to narrow it down. They gave me SO much time for photos which allowed me to really get creative and provide them with tons of amazing photos (future Brides and Grooms take note – more time is best for photos!) Sarah and Ryan are just such an amazing couple and I had a great time photographing them for their wedding photos.

After photos, we headed to their reception at The Pines in Cambridge. When I walked into the room, I was so excited because it looked absolutely stunning! They had purple touches everywhere to compliment their theme in their decor, like purple lilac on the tables for the centerpieces, purple letters (because Sarah and Ryan wanted to have table letters instead of table numbers) and purple uplighting at their table. They also had the lovely, romantic touches like candles and warm lighting all throughout the room.

Sarah & Ryan’s reception was full of fun times! The speeches were heartfelt, with the right amount of humor to get everyone laughing. It’s so easy to see, from the words that people said, that everyone was so happy for Sarah and Ryan to be married and they all love them together so much!

After dinner and speeches, Sarah and Ryan then shared in their first dance as a married couple, and it was super sweet! One of Sarah’s bridesmaids and Ryan’s best man (who are actually an engaged couple themselves) provided the music for the dance with singing and guitar playing. It was very fitting, since when Ryan proposed to Sarah he serenaded her with singing and guitar playing himself- how romantic!

One of the most unique, best parts of the day was the Father Daughter dance that Sarah had with her Dad. Because her Dad adores her so much, I was expecting a sweet, slow dance, but they did the exact opposite! They really got the party started by performing Napolean Dynamite’s iconic dance together! They had everyone laughing and it was amazing! The party got started after that dance with everyone dressing up in costume and dancing up a storm! The energy in the room was so fun!

Sarah and Ryan, you both are just SUCH incredible people and I am so honored to have been the person that you chose to capture your special day. I’m so glad that you love your photos because I had the best time taking them! I wish you both all the happiness in the world – truly, and I hope your lives are filled of joy, adventure and that all of your dreams come true!
